In December 2006,  the project “Development and Popularization of Technology on Low Cost Wastewater Treatment”, led by Prof. Xiao Zhengxue and Prof. Zhang Zhigui, has been proudly funded 600,000 RMB yuan by the State’s Ministry of Science and Technology. It is the first time for the university to receive project funds of “International Science and Technology Cooperation Plan”. The project will be implemented together by scientists from China, Belgium, Denmark , etc.
