The first group of three students will start to study at Aitan Women's University of Japan at the beginning of April based on the exchange agreement signed by both universities. All relevant formalities including their visas have been completed. These three students are sophomore of Japanese Department of Foreign Language and Literature College. They will study parts of major course at the partner university for one year. The course completed by the exchange students at the partner university will be recognized by the home university. Having finished their studying abroad, they will return back and continue to study the left courses at SWUST.
This is the first student group of exchange between the two universities. The Japanese university pays more attentions on it. A special welcoming ceremony will be held for these students.
We hope that we can create more opportunities for studying abroad and broadening their outlets for our students so that they will be more competitive in the market of employment. Meanwhile, we also hope that the teaching and research level of Japanese language and literature in Japanese department will be improved through this cooperation. |
